Definition:

(n) A wanderer who has no permanent living place. One who changes jobs or homes frequently.

(adj) Without roots or sense of permanence; homeless and hapless.

Pronunciation: VAY - grent
Also Known As: Hobo; drifter; vagabond; wanderer; transient; dispossessed
Examples:

When I was six, I preferred to wear mismatched shoes and clothing, as if I wanted to look like a vagrant beggar.

"But the Seven Sleepers had a dog; and dogs of the mysterious breeds that vagrants own, that are as much like cats as dogs and as much like foxes as cats, also lay about here."
