Guide Review - Microsoft Student 2007
This product contains tutorials and templates that aid in many subject topics from Algebra to Composition, and it receives rave review from students and parents alike. There is one caveat, however. To use Student 2007, you must have a computer equipped with Microsoft Office 2003 (or later) and Windows XP. Student 2007 interacts with Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and some customers have complained that this is not made clear from the package. Some customers purchase the product expecting those programs to be included. They are not.
Other than that, the product seems to deliver what it promises: sound help in areas where students and parents struggle most. One big problem I hear often is that parents don't remember enough math from their own school days to help their kids. That is where this product pays off.
Student 2007 actually provides tutorials based upon problems the most widely-used text books. You simply input your school book's title and publishing information, page numbers, and there you have it! Assignment-specific instruction.
